With new France travel restrictions announced to slow the spread of the new COVID-19 variants, being able to enter the country to look for yacht work will now depend on which country you are coming from.

How you look for yacht jobs in France and the applicable French travel restrictions will depend on where you're from.
As of the 24th June 2021, the French Government has introduced a new system classifying countries in three groups with different travel rules and restrictions for each of the groups.

Classification of countries
The countries have been classified in three groups as follows:
"Green list" countries or territories: Countries where no active viral circulation has been reported and no relevant variants identified. These are European area countries, plus Albania, Australia, Bosnia, Canada, Hong-Kong, Israel, Japan, Kosovo, Lebanon, Montenegro, New Zealand, North Macedonia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, South Korea, Taïwan, the United States and Vanuatu.
"Amber list" countries: Countries where active viral circulation in controlled proportions has been reported, albeit with no spread of relevant variants. These include all countries not featured on the "green" and "red" lists.
"Red list" countries: Countries where active viral circulation has been reported, including relevant variants. These include the following countries: Afghanistan, Argentina, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa - Rica, India, Maldives, Namibia, Nepal, Pakistan, Paraguay, Russia, Seychelles, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Suriname and Uruguay.

Travel from a green list country or territory
Travellers entering France from a green listed countries or territory no restrictions will apply.
If you are already vaccinated, you must present proof of vaccination status and a sworn statement attesting to the absence of symptoms of covid-19 infection and contact with a confirmed case of covid-19.
If you are not vaccinated, you must present the transport company and border control authorities with a negative PCR or antigenic test no more than 72 hours prior to departure (departure of first flight in case of connecting flights). Children aged below eleven years are exempt from testing. You must also present a sworn statement attesting to the absence of symptoms of covid-19 infection and contact with a confirmed case of covid-19.

Travel from an amber list country or territory
If you are already vaccinated, no restrictions shall apply when entering metropolitan France. A ll travellers arriving from an amber list country must present a negative PCR test less than 72 hours prior to departure or a negative antigen test less than 48 hours prior to departure. You will have to present a sworn statement certifying the absence of COVID-19 symptoms and of any contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19, as well as the proof of your vaccination status.
If you are not vaccinated, you must give a compelling reason to be allowed to enter metropolitan France. Please note that looking for work is not considered a compelling reason!
